Abstract

A new troglobiotic species, Hahnia troglopyrenaea sp. nov. is described from caves in the French western Pyrénées. It has been wrongly reported from France as Iberina mazarredoi Simon, 1881. Diagnostic differences from this species from north-eastern Spain are pointed out and a distribution map of both species is presented. Iberina mazarredoi is deleted from the French checklist.
