A. Hirna). Results Gnaphosa badia occurs sporadically in the highlands of the Ukrainian (Eastern) Carpathians. Adult individuals were caught in the period June to September. Photos of the male palp and vulva are shown in Fig. 2. Specimens were collected at an altitude over 1600 m a.s.l., which corresponds to re- cords of specimens in the territory of the Eastern Carpathians within northern Romania.
