Abstract
A male of Stenochilus (Stenochilidae) is reported from southern Iraq, representing the first record of the family for the Middle East and the westernmost record of the family. The specimen was identified as Stenochilus hobsoni O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1871, previously known only from India.
Ein Männchen von Stenochilus (Stenochilidae) wurde im Südirak gefunden. Es stellt der Erstnachweise der Familie für den Nahen Osten und den westlichsten Fund der Familie dar. Es wurde als Stenochilus hobsoni O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1871 bestimmt, eine Art die bisher nur aus Indien bekannt war.
